International Quilt Festival Exhibits

International Quilt Festival Exhibits

I wanted to do a second blog post just for the exhibit area of Quilt Market.  When I used to attend Festival, this was my favorite part and I was so excited to see that it was set up during Market.  It was the perfect place to hang out when Market felt too overwhelming and I felt nothing but inspiration when looking at the quilts.

This blog post is going to be light on words, but heavy on photos, so get ready!

I included a photo of the descriptive placard for each quilt!  Enjoy!

This was my favorite!

The amount of work that went into this one is awe inspiring.

Some closeups of this amazing quilt:

1,058 little kimonos!

Look at all the tiny people wearing kimonos!

I loved the colors on this one.

Not only was this a clever use of a discarded quilt, but I love the message.

I also loved the message of this one.

I thought this one was really clever.

So there you have it!  This doesn't even come close to the number of quilts on display, but I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my favorites.
