#SewPink - The Flipping Out Tote
I am so honored to once again participate in the #SewPink initiative with ByAnnie patterns. For my project this year, I chose to make the Flipping Out bag. The bag comes in two sizes, and this is my fabric pull for both bags. The smaller one is for my pens and I chose book fabrics. I'm not sure what I will use the larger one for so I just chose some of my favorite fabrics.
I love how this bag stands on its own with your materials so that you can easly see and use what is in it. Typically with pencil bags, I have to constantly dig through the bag to find a specific pen or pencil. With this bag, it's like having a cup and all the pens are easily seen and within reach. There are even a few mesh pockets on the inside.

I think these bags are perfect for travel and would be really useful during treatments or hospital stays. In fact, I will probably give the larger bag to the next friend or family member that has to fight cancer. It would make a great gift filled with little comforts for their treatment or hospital stay.
