Texas Ranch House-#QuiltBlockMania
It's time for the February #QuiltBlockMania block! The theme this month is houses and I designed a cute ranch house inspired by the house we lived in for a few years in Waller, Texas. We moved here in 2001 when my son was three years old and my daughter was just born. It was a great house, but we had to move when the location no longer worked for us. Here's a fun fact, when we bought the house, it came with chickens!
Our Ranch House
The block includes blue doors and shutters and a fun red star on the peaked roof. Many houses in Texas have Stars on the sides, roofs, garages, or fences. You definitely know that you are in the Lone Star State when you visit!
